London is the undisputed capital of the UK's music industry. In terms of businesses, home to all of the UK's major record labels, while it is estimated that 70% of independent labels are based in London and in terms of employment, it is one of the largest of the creative industries.

Alongside the record companies, London is a centre for live music, showcasing new talent, music PR and journalism.
