Film

London is one of the world's centres for film production. The third busiest filming production centre in the world, with the highest location quotient, after TV and radio, of all the creative industries.

Much of our support for film has been channelled through Film London, which has a strong focus on shooting films on location in London.

Film London also offers a range of business support and training facilities through its various services.

Many London based suppliers are contracted to deliver these services. An important issue under continual development is the creation of film marketing and finance raising activities through the London UK Film Focus and a presence at international commercial film festivals such as Cannes and Berlin.

More recently, the London Development Agency has also been involved in the development of BFI facilities at the National Film Theatre.
