The business of the London Development Agency (LDA) is overseen by its Board and Executive Committees. The Board gives strategic leadership to the Agency, and is accountable to the Mayor for ensuring the LDA meets its performance targets.
The LDA Board
The LDA's Board members are appointed by the Mayor and bring to the Agency a wealth of experience from private and public sectors, Learning and Skills Councils, Local Government and the London Assembly. Two Board Observers represent higher and further education.

The Board has a number of Committees and Advisory Groups to advise it on key strategic issues. Each provides a forum for in-depth and specialist policy discussion. They play a valuable role in informing the strategic direction and policies of the Agency and guide decisions taken by the Board or Chief Executive.
Chaired by a member of the Board, Committees may draw upon a range of experts from different sectors across London.
Board Members are required to declare any direct or indirect interest, pecuniary or not, in any matter that is brought up for consideration at a meeting of the LDA Board, or any Subordinate Body of the Board.
A Register of Members' Interests is available for public inspection at the office of the LDA by application in writing to the Secretary giving reasonable notice.
The Secretary of the Board maintains a Register of Gifts and Hospitality received by Members of the Board. This is available for public inspection at the office of the LDA by application in writing to the Secretary giving reasonable notice.
