Partners

Among our partners are the 33 London boroughs, sub-regional partnerships and numerous government departments, as well as a broad range of key partners from the voluntary, community, public and private sectors.

Together we work to identify economic development needs and opportunities and to plan, procure and deliver effective projects to support our priorities.

We are also one of the nine Regional Development Agencies (RDAs) operating across England, all of whom are funded by central Government. Although the London Development Agency (LDA) is sponsored by the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR - formerly the Department of Trade and Industry), which also approves our targets, we have close ties to several other government departments.

These include the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG), the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), and the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) and Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS).

The successful delivery of much of our work depends on the relationships we build with stakeholders across London, providing strategic leadership in exchange for expert knowledge.

By continually establishing new partnerships and mobilising the support
and resources of all our stakeholders, we are providing leadership in economic regeneration and actively engaging London’s communities in developing their own economic legacy.
