We do not have this function at the moment, but you are welcome to send your application with the correct reference number as an email attachment.

Can I apply for more than one role?

Yes. There is no limit on the number of positions you can apply for but you need to ensure that your skills and experience are suited to those required for the particular role and you must demonstrate this on your application.

Do I need any professional qualifications to apply?

Any specific professional qualifications required will be listed in the relevant job role profile. Please ensure that you read this before completing your application and be aware that you will be asked to provide evidence of your qualifications if they are essential to your job.

Do you offer a relocation package if I have to move to take up the post?

No.

Can I claim back travel expenses if I am invited for interview?

No.

If my application is unsuccessful, can I get feedback?

Yes you can. If you wish to receive feedback you need to contact the HR Team at the LDA. They will then arrange with the recruiting manager to provide you with feedback.

How often is the website updated?

The website is updated as and when vacancies become available.

Is every vacancy shown on the website?

Yes. We operate an open recruitment process to both internal and external applicants.

Do you accept speculative applications?

No. We ask that if people are interested in working for the LDA they keep an eye on our website and wait for a suitable position before applying.

How long will I have to wait before hearing about my application?

If you are short-listed you will hear within 2 to 3 weeks of the closing date. If you have not heard within four weeks you can assume that your application has been unsuccessful. We regret that we do not write to unsuccessful applicants.

I need to change my interview date, is that possible?

We will try to accommodate candidates as much as possible, but this will depend on the commitments and availability of the panel.

When could I start?

We understand that most people will have a notice period they will need to give their current employers before they can start at the LDA.

As part of the recruitment process once the successful candidate has been identified, a conditional offer of employment will be made, subject to satisfactory completion of checks into your employment history, health and right to live and work in the UK.
