Olympic and Legacy Planning Applications
The Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Act 2006 provided for the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) to be given planning powers. From 7 September 2006 any planning applications within the ODA Planning Area are now submitted to the ODA Planning Decisions Team, rather than to the local borough. Relocation Planning Applications
The LDA is responsible for assembling the land needed for the 2012 Games and longer term regeneration of the Lower Lea Valley. As part of this project, we worked with groups and individuals that needed to relocate from the Olympic Park.
The LDA submitted a number of planning applications in support of these relocations and details of those applications can be found below:
