The roadshows are on again during summer 2008 and all Londoners are encouraged to go along. Within the roadshow's pods, there are plenty of interactive elements for visitors to enjoy and to gain a better understanding of the work we are doing in the lead up to 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.
Come along and get involved in this summer's programme and you just might find an opportunity to be involved in London's biggest sporting event ever.
The Get Set London roadshow launched in Trafalgar Square on Wednesday 9 January 2008. From January to April, the roadshow journeyed to 30 London boroughs providing locals with the opportunity to learn about the benefits that the Olympic and Paralympic Games are bringing to the city as a whole and also to their local community.
The roadshow gives Londoners a chance to find out how the London 2012 Games are creating jobs and business opportunities and are benefiting culture, sport and regeneration in the capital.
The Roadshow events are run as a partnership between the London Development Agency (LDA) and London 2012, to demonstrate to Londoners the benefits the Games are bringing to the capital and local communities.
The legacy of the Games starts now with numerous programmes underway to benefit all of London.
