ERDF 2007 to 2013 programme Round 1

Round 1 closed on 16 April 2008.

The first Prospectus for the London European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) 2007 to 2013 programme was launched on 5 December 2007.

Following a call for Expressions of Interest from December 2007 to February 2008 and Full applications in April 2008, the European Programme Management Unit (EPMU) is currently in contract negotiations with applicants.

The following list (current at June 2008) shows those organisations that entered contract negotiations. The award of an ERDF grant will only be confirmed once the contract negotiations have finished and a contract has been signed.

A list of organisations which receive ERDF funding will be published on the website in due course.

Guidance and application documents

The following documents were available for applicants for Round 1.

For Round 1 there were two application stages, Expression of Interest and Full Application/Business Plan. The following list (dated March 2008) shows those organisations which submitted Expressions of Interest.

Not all applications listed were invited to submit a Full Application.  The project summary information included in the list was provided by the applicants themselves.

Background to Round 1

The Round 1 December 2007 Prospectus built on the Operational Programme which sets out the investment priorities for London ERDF. It provided information on the specific types of projects which will be supported, the application process, timetable, and the technical eligibility criteria.

There were three main priorities for which we invited Expressions of Interest:

  • Business innovation and research and promoting eco-efficiency
  • Access to new markets and access to finance
  • Sustainable places for business

The Round 1 Prospectus also provides details on applying for ERDF to deliver Technical Assistance projects.
