Hog Hill is in the London Borough of Redbridge (approx 11km or 7 miles from Eastway), close to Hainault Country Park. The site could provide a road cycle circuit of at least equivalent length of the current Eastway circuit and approx 5km of off-road trails.
Detailed plans have not yet been submitted for Hog Hill and it would not be delivered in time for Eastway temporarily closing. However, based on our initial feasibility work, a facility at Hog Hill could be open in advance of the 2007 season in Spring 2007.
Further work needs to be done on the Hog Hill site in terms of site lay-out, management and operation. The LDA would however like to hear views from Eastway Users on the initial concept for the site as outlined in the following text and on the illustration.
