All kinds of businesses, large and small will be needed to deliver the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. Most of the contracts will not be let for some time (i.e. after 2007).
Most of these tendering opportunities will be publicised by the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) when it is established, and the LOCOG.
Until then, the LDA and TfL will invite tenders for all contracts in relation to the construction or transport requirements of the Olympic Park via the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) - external site.

With the establishment of a separate Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) in April 2006, responsibility for issuing future contracts in connection with the development of the Olympic Park venues will now rest with the ODA. They will also be responsible for establishing consultant advisory call off panels which will cover a wide range of disciplines.

All these opportunities will be advertised using the channels listed above.
J Murphy & Sons Limited has been announced as the selected contractor to construct twelve kilometres of tunnels to replace the overhead power lines that currently cross the Lower Lea Valley.
The EDAW consortium (including Arup and Atkins) have been appointed as the Olympic Park and Infrastructure designers. Working alongside the ODA they will develop the Olympic Park Masterplan and design the infrastructure required, including everything from roads and waterways to drainage and utilities.
