We sometimes need to collect and use personal information so that we can fulfil our functions as an organisation. Examples of our functions are described on our website, such as providing business support, providing funding, running projects and events, evaluating what we do, and communicating with you about our services.

When we ask you for personal information, we promise to:

when you complete surveys or attend events
as part of any application by you for funding or funding agreement with you.

We continually seek to improve what is available on our websites and in our digital communications, and make them more effective. This information is aggregated and does not identify individuals. It may include IP addresses, referring and destination websites, browsing patterns, browser type, operating system, and search terms.

We may need to share your information with other organisations that work with us in order to provide our services. In those cases, those organisations may only use the information for that purpose.
In particular, the LDA is part of the Greater London Authority Group (the GLA Group), the other members of which are the Greater London Authority (comprising the Mayor of London and the Greater London Assembly), Transport for London, the Metropolitan Police Authority, and the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority [add links behind the GLA member titles].
We will share information, including personal information, within the group, but only to assist with the provision of our services to you.
We will release personal information where we are required to do so by law, or by rules to which we are subject (including auditing requirements).
We may also exchange information with other organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and reduction of credit risk.
We will not transfer personal information outside the European Economic Area (EEA) without ensuring that your information is safeguarded in the same way it would be within the EEA.
