Creating better futures
Creating better futures is our guide to the LDA and what we will be doing in 2010/11
London is a world city - a global success story built on innovation, commerce and talent.
We are often an unseen partner, but most Londoners are affected by our work. Our investments, influence and innovative approach make real improvements and help unlock London's potential.
The LDA wants to work in partnership with businesses, London's boroughs and third sector bodies - any organisation that can turn our plans for the capital's economic development into action.
We aim to make a difference in six key areas - reflecting the priorities set by the LDA Board and the emerging objectives of the Mayor of London's new Economic Development Strategy:
- Getting London working
- Supporting London's businesses
- Building better places in London
- Investing in London's low carbon future
- Getting the most from the 2012 Games
- Promoting London to the world
'Creating better futures' highlights the LDA's way of working as we look to improve how we engage with our stakeholders.
We aim to use what influence we have to bring people and organisations together, so that we work in partnership to have a bigger combined impact.
