Board and Committees
The Board
The business of the London Development Agency (LDA) is overseen by its Board and Committees. The Board gives strategic leadership to the Agency and is accountable to the Mayor for ensuring the LDA meets its performance targets.
Committees
The Board has a number of Committees which provide a forum for in-depth and specialist discussion. Each Committee is chaired by a Board Member and comprised of other Board Members; they are all appointed by the Chair of the LDA Board annually.
There are currently three Committees:
Registration and Declaration of Interests
Board Members are required to declare any outside interest which relates (either directly or indirectly) to the work of the LDA.
Registration and Declaration of Gifts and Hospitality
The Secretary to the Board maintains a Register of Gifts and Hospitality received by Members of the Board, Board Observers, Specialist Advisors and LDA Officers.

LDA Standing Orders
The Board are regulated by the LDA’s Standing Orders.
The original Standing Orders were approved by the LDA Board on 5 December 2001, with the First Revision approved by the LDA Board on 20 April 2005.
The Second Revision was approved by the current LDA Board on 08 September 2008.
